Our clients trust us to provide insightful financial guidance, and we are looking for a dedicated Experienced Auditor to join our team and make an impact.
Position Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced Auditor to join our diverse team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, financial reporting, and risk assessment. This role is ideal for professionals who excel in problem-solving, client communication, and audit execution. The position offers growth into a management position.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years audit, review, compilation and accounting experience in the commercial and non-profit sectors or benefit plan audit experience a plus; public accounting preferred.
- Experience in supervising staff and managing workflow.
- CPA license required (or eligibility).
- Well-rounded knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and Statement of Standards of Accounting and Review Services (SSARS).
- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping software including, but not limited to, QuickBooks, ProFx and Engagement, experience in the private sector acceptable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
- Bilingual (Spanish-English) candidates are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage financial audits, including risk assessment and planning.
- Evaluate internal controls and ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Prepare and review financial statements and audit reports.
- Provide guidance to clients on financial regulations and best practices.
- Mentor junior audit staff and support their professional growth.
- Stay up to date with GAAP, tax laws, and auditing standards.
- Working closely with firm Partners.
