Over 25 years of experience meeting the needs of all types of businesses and providing innovative tax and business solutions to closely-held businesses with complex ownership structures. Types of businesses served include, but are not limited to, professional services, real estate, high-technology and not-for-profit organizations.

Experience includes real estate planning and structuring, 1031 exchanges, corporate and individual tax planning, strategic business planning, compliance work for a full assortment

of clients including limited liability companies, partnerships, subchapter S corporations,

C corporations, estates, trusts and individuals.

Directly involved in the creative tax planning for a wide variety of companies including real estate, construction, medical practices, and personal service companies.

Specialization includes advance planning strategies for use in multiple entity tax structures including limited liability companies, limited partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, and various types of trusts.

Expertise in not-for-profit organizations with extensive experience with a wide range of organizations.

Currently involved in taxing authorities representation encompassing tax controversy workouts with Internal Revenue Service and Franchise Tax Board.

Background:

Ms. McDuffie is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Minor in Psychology. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. She worked comprehensively at a real estate Certified Public Accounting Firm for more than twelve years and is dedicated to tax planning and restructuring for real estate and corporate entities. Ms. McDuffie is a consultant and former board member for the FVJAAF Football Youth Organization. She is also a former active member in the PCRF Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation’s annual Race for The Cure for childhood cancers.
